Sometimes its is possible to as a part even to wheel thrown fired bisque paperclay with paperclay handles. If you already lost the piece, no harm in trying this. It works often, but not guaranteed.
Tip: To prepare the surface for the additions, be generous when you soak water and inch or two more around the area to be joined as seen above on the left. Excess will just evaporate. This is true on bone dry paperlcay too. At bisque there is no paper in the clay, of course so it had been more fragile. I had bumped the lower handle and broke it off. You see is dark color of fresh wet p'clay I was using. Softest putty P'Clay/P'Slip is better for the repair as fiber ends will hopefully soak in and grip the paperclay bisque.
